Lighting Care Guide

Each Tanea light is a testament to Moroccan craftsmanship, hand-forged, hand-finished, and designed to last for generations. To preserve the beauty and integrity of your brass or copper piece, follow these simple care instructions.

General Care

- Dust regularly using a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid abrasive cloths or harsh chemicals, as they can scratch or dull the metal.
- If your lamp includes glass panels, wipe gently with a damp microfiber cloth.
- Always unplug your lamp before cleaning.

Brass & Copper Maintenance

Our lights are made from solid brass or copper, and their finishes may gently evolve over time.
- To preserve the patina, simply dust it and allow it to age naturally; this is part of its charm.
- To restore shine, use a small amount of brass or copper polish on a soft cloth. Test on a discreet area first.
- For matte finishes: Avoid polishing. Just dust regularly to maintain their soft glow.

Avoid Moisture & Heat

- Avoid placing your fixture in damp or humid areas unless otherwise specified.
- Keep away from direct heat sources or open flames.

Storage

- If storing your lamp, wrap it in a soft cloth and keep in a dry, room-temperature place.
- Avoid plastic wraps for long-term storage as they may trap moisture.

With gentle care, your Tanea piece will remain a radiant part of your home for years to come.
